Why I never kept a diary...

This is precisely why I never kept a diary...I don't have the dedication required to write in it consistently....

My first and last entry was waaaaayyy back in April before my birthday. Since then, I turned 21, finished my third year of college and declared a math minor. I don't want to make all my entries so much about school, but since school dominates my life, I can't really help it.

I'm taking summer classes for the first time ever. And I've gotta say, I'm not liking the pace and workload, and especially the part that requires me to spend time indoors studying during my summer break when I should be at the beach. But just two more grueling weeks until my classes are done, and I can enjoy my summer.

Aside from school and research, I've recently, as in the past month or two, started reading fashion/style blogs. I'm totally obsessed. My daily routine goes like this: wake up; check fb, twitter, fav blogs, school email, other email; breakfast; class; research; class; dinner; check fb, twitter, etc.; sleep. And thoughout the day (especially when bored in class or research) I check each of those sites several more times from my phone. I started following Leproust Vintage which led me to Kendi Everyday and eventually to Clothed Much. All of which I have been reading religiously the last few weeks. Elaine at Much Clothed is so creative with what she's got; her closet looks so minimal, but she still puts together great outfits. I even spotted a skirt I own but haven't managed to wear successfully in her closet photo. So I looked back through her old posts to see how she styled it, and now, with some ideas, I really want to give it another try. And Clothed Much deserves a special mention because I just won her Lime Ricki swimwear giveaway! I still can't believe I won!

Anyway, tomorrow night I'm going to some art show with my sister, Jessica. 100 artist interpretations of Satan. Sounds pleasant, right? I'm required to go at some point for my art class, and tomorrow night's the opening, and there's like a whole shindig: free food, bar, etc. I'm told that it's the best night to go.

Okay, I'm going to make a conscious effort to post again at least once a week...and maybe after I've got that down, I'll bump it up to several times a week. We'll see how it goes.
